For our purposes below, we are going to speak of audits and attestations casually as “audits.” We would be happy to explain the differences between all of the attest services, but not everyone is so curious. What matters for the moment is that you are here because you need one of these services.
Maybe you have been audited for years, or maybe you were just told you have do this for the first time. No one wants to be audited; it’s something that has to be done when it has to be done, like going to the dentist. And, like the Dentist, the person you go to has to have the correct qualifications, because one must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in order to perform these engagements.
