We offer a free 30 minute consultation, both new clients, and annually for existing clients.
If we have the understanding that we may work together, MCA will follow up with a quote and a draft contract outlining the services and pricing as discussed.
Accounting/Advisory
Accounting and advisory are confusing words that probably means bookkeeping/transactional accounting, but could also include payroll, reconciliations, compliance, cash flows, financial statements, internal controls, policies & procedures, budgeting/forecasting and giving advice based on any or all of the above.
You may also hear terms like fractional accounting services and CAS/CAAS thrown around.
We don’t mean to make it confusing; there are as many solutions as there are problems. Come tell us your problems and we can find those solutions together, and figure out what to call it later.

That’s an excellent question, and I would be happy to talk to you about your exact circumstances. If you already have a bookkeeper, and that person is doing everything you need, for less than you would pay me, I will probably agree with you.

I have heard some pretty complex answers to this question, but my philosophy is: I am going to charge you the monthly rate for the months that you are behind. If it ends up being way more complicated or simpler than expected, I reserve the right to talk to you about raising or lowering the price, respectively.
